After entering the Christmas season, the Knights and Dames of the Canadian Delegation participated in the Christmas Food Drive in support of the Ottawa Food Bank. Through the kindness and generosity of our members, the Delegation was able to donate $1,400.00 on behalf of the Dynastic Orders.
The food program that the Food Bank has in place, was able to turn this donation into $7,000.00 worth of food!
Thank you to all who contributed.

Read the Resolutions
In an announcement made officially on Jan-15-2020, H.R.H. Prince Vittorio Emanuele, made some important decisions regarding the life of the House of Savoia.
By signing two resolutions,  H.R.H. Prince Vittorio Emanuele decided to adapt the Law of Succession of the House of Savoia. Through these provisions, the Royal House of Savoia will adopt the rule of absolute primogeniture*, which will be applied from now on to direct descendants, with lineage prevailing over degree. This rule is already applied by the majority of Royal Houses.

Follow the link to read the resolutions.

*a law in which the eldest child of the sovereign (Head of the Dynasty) succeeds to the throne, regardless of gender, and females (and their descendants) enjoy the same right of succession as males.
